Wondering what the next project for Open Design will be?
Looking to start the new year with an opportunity to learn more about RPG design?
Look no further-- Midgard is coming!

Teaser trailers are generally put out pretty far in advance of an actual release. "Coming in January 2011...?" That's day after tomorrow. You must have something you can show.
It's hard for them to have something to show in a project developed by the patrons input. There's no input for them to make output from yet!

You must have something you can show.
Open Design is known primarily for its patronage projects-- like From Shore to Sea/Sunken Empires, Tales of the Old Margreve, and available for just one more day, Streets of Zobeck.
This means material is brainstormed and generated in collaboration with the patrons. It's an excellent opportunity to learn more about RPG design and help shape the end product. But it also means there's not a lot to show beforehand.

@Damon Griffin - I believe they mean that the patron project will start then. Not the product coming out. I could be wrong of course, but if I am right means no work has been started yet.
Okay. I remembered discussions about the logo from back in June, and assumed it was already underway before now.
@terraleon - The $24.95 buy-in to Frozen Empires is already available; what is it that's coming next month? Discussion begins among patrons?
