I just downloaded Game Dev Story for my iPhone and am having the hardest time putting it down. It's a simulation/resource management type game that puts you in the role of a small company developing video games. You get to choose the type of game you create (e.g., I've been making Robot Puzzle games lately), hire and level-up employees, etc. As you play, new consoles are released (e.g., the Intendro Game Kid) and you can develop new games for those.
And, it's only $0.99.
Anyone else have a game they want to recommend?

Gamebook Adventures, which the company has made for both the iPhone and iPad (which is what I have). There are 4 out, but I've only played the first one. It's a very nice take on the "choose your own adventure" books where you also roll dice for combats and "fitness" tests (you can also shake the iPad--presumably the iPhone as well--to bounce the dice around to try to get those 6's). It will definitely eat up some time.
