Was trying to purchase the Bestiary 2 PDF, I'm in the U.K and using a VISA Electron Card. I've double checked all the information is correct. Any idea why its not being accepted?

Visa Electrons, unlike regular Visa cards are notoriously problematic with online purchases - their security certificates are rather low and as result most vendors reject them. I myself have two VE's - one doesn't work with online businesses, one does.

Best is to ask your bank for alternatives (some banks offer pre-paid cards for online purchases).

I use it online a great deal and have never had a problem before...

I do not know why it wasn't being processed when you tried it. The reason code we received was "unknown cause". However, I just reattempted the transaction from the customer service side and it was able to be processed. You should have access to the PDF in your account now. I apologize for the inconvenience.

As far as we know, our processor won't automatically reject anything with a Visa or MasterCard logo.
