I have been searching extensively for factors that reduce the cost of items.
I have been looking at the cost of the Candle of Invocation for instance,
it is an item that can be use by anyone but has limited use in that it is consumed once its 4 hour wick is spent or if the Gate spell is activated.
While this candle can be used by anyone it is more useful to a cleric but not limited to clerics only.... I am having difficulty figuring how the reductions added to this item.
Also I am unclear as to multiple spell effects added into an item, if one has multiple spells like say phase door and protection from energy that have no component cost how would one factor the cost of each spell?

Item Pricing is not an exact science and the rules are really guidelines. Many of the items don't follow the formulas listed.
