Hi, new to the boards, but an old hand around Toronto for RPGs.
I'm looking for a group of people to start a Pathfinder campaign with. I would be GMing, but I'd be happy to share the duties.
The frequency would be once every two weeks, perhaps once a month at least.
My playing style is heavily character and story driven. I play pretty fast and loose with the rules, but I promise to always be fair. I'm only interested in having a good time with like minded folks. Power trips are left at the door. :)
I live centrally, east of the Don Valley, right close to transit.
Please feel free to use this thread to ask questions, or to hash out ideas.

Hi kospauste. I am new to the boards here myself and reside near Parkdale...an easy cycle to Riverdale-Danforth for me. I originally only thought to play PbP games. Scheduling can be a challenge. A couple times a month is certainly doable...and I know someone else who might be interested. I am an old hand in a sense that I used to play a long time ago...but havent for many years. Ì would be interested in GMing a game eventually...but not right away.
The way you have decribed how you like to play is more or less what i am accustomed to....I also like descriptive settings. I personaly think that elaborate visual aids (fancy game boards, huge collections of miniatures etc.) can be distracting should not be required for the game...details are best filled in using imagination and description.
I have lately been eying some of the Gamemastery adventures set in the Darkmoon Vale as a possible resource for the starting of a campaign.
Any ideas?

Good to hear that there are other Toronto Pathfinder players. It doesn't sound like my type of game (I prefer fast and tight to fast and loose :-P), but good luck!
Have you tried the Toronto Area Gamers Meetup group?
