I want anyone who does a search to come here.
I don't think it's homebrew. I don't even think its Pathfinder.
I think it's starting a new type of game from scratch.
If I find such a discussion in a Pathfinder thread except General Discussion I will flag it as being in the wrong place.
It belongs here.
It's an off topic discussion.

Wait -- am I understanding the OP correctly?
"Anyone who dares think that fighters should get spellcasting ability (or anything like it), under any circumstances, has no right to post in Pathfinder discussions!"
No offense, but that makes me want to flood the Pathfinder threads with false demands for fighter spellcasting, just to demonstrate that the OP doesn't get to dictate what opinions are considered "acceptable" and what opinions "deserve" to be relegated to an off-topic dustbin.

Oh yeah? Well, *I* will tie the shoelaces of everyone who starts such a discussion together.
And I do mean I'll tie all the shoelaces together. Not every individual's shoelaces from his two shoes together. I'll basically make a giant chain of shoelaces and shoes and hapless people who will inadvertantly fall and take the rest with them domino style.
*That* is how mature *I* am.
But that guru is basically right. Fighters don't do magic. It's basically how you recognise them. They're fighters. Not magi. Not priests. Not rogues with the right talents. Not bards with the right archetype. Nope! Plain, run-of-the-mill, down-to-earth, salt-of-the-earth fighters. They just use weapons - and bravery! - to kill things, like their enemies, or rivers.

I'm going to stab it right in the mouth!
Just discovered JourneyQuest about 2 days ago... How had I missed it for so long - funny as hell!
On topic:
There is plenty of room for a fighter type who casts spells, has better skill points, etc. I think when the Ultimate Combat book comes out, we will see a few great examples of full BAB casting classes. However, if I don't really care about spells, and don't really care about skill points, and would trade those things to be the most bad-ass fighting machine possible, well that is what the fighter class is for. I personally don't think it should be watered down, when you can get almost anything you want by just dipping into another class.
Just my opinion.

See I was wondering the same thing myself. Honestly how many warrior Mages are there in fiction?? Bazillions.

Rangers aren't fighters. Magus (oh how I hate that name) aren't fighters. Paladins aren't fighters. I think it's quite fair to expect fighters not to cast spells, because there are many other similar classes which do.
What's certainly ridiculous is the OP thinking he can dictate what gets posted where.
