I will be moving back to the Louisville KY area soon. Looking to join up with an active gaming group in the area (pathfinder RPG or 3.5 preferred)
I don't live in Louisville anymore, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to say hey to a fellow dockery.
I'm having the same issue with finding a group in rural Indiana.

Well I can't help you directly--all the games I know of are full at present--but you might find something here:
Although I'm afraid it's been quite a while since I checked in there and it looks like the traffic's way down on that site. Still, you never know. . .

Is the Louisivlle Game Shop still open on Bardstown Road a few doors up from Molly Malones? If so maybe Collin or some of the people that shop there might know of a more local game.
If that doesn't work then try Comic Book World over on Old Shepherdsville Road. They have a gaming area set up and carry a good amount of gaming product. There used to be games going on there every weekend and I think there might be a board where people post looking for new players. I haven't been in there for a few years, but I seem to remember them being fairly easy to deal with.
I know that George over at Empire Comics in New Albany still has a gaming area in his store, but I think that most of it is oriented towards Magic the Gathering. Though he may have people that come in there to run RPG games as well.
I'm pretty sure there is a D&D game every week (Thurs?) at Something to Do in the Oxmoor Mall over on Shelbyville Rd. I don't know if they run Pathfinder as well, I haven't been in there for several years.
If there are still any Book and Music Exchange stores in Louisville, they used to have guys that would run the occasional game.
Those are the only ones I can think of that have any association with gaming. In Indiana, once you get out of New Albany I don't think there is another gaming/Comic shop until you get to either Columbus or Bloomington. Kentucky seems to have quite a few more stores but between grad school, work and family time, it is just too far for me to drive for a game.

Empire Comics is just 5 minutes from my house. There is an occasional D&D Game Day hosted there every few months, but there are no regular games and nothing that isn't 4E.

Last time I checked that didn't have any Pathfinder games, but there there are one or two 4E games that run there pretty regularly.
