Newer AP Avatars?

Hi guys. I only recently noticed that a lot of the avatars available are from the older AP's like CotCT. Any chance of the images from the newer AP's appearing as avatars?

We only take the time to update them infrequently, but it'll happen eventually!

Was just about to start a thread about this very same thing when I saw this one. After several months of a transitional story line, my Serpent's Skull campaign is finally reaching the start of that AP. I had kind of hoped the avatars for at least the first installment would have been up by now for PbP GMs.

I realize it's now Christmas, but anything more specific than "eventually" for when we might see these? It's kind of a shame having to use a bug in place of a beautifully illustrated character such as the one gracing the cover of SS#3. :(

I would love if the Avatars were broken down into categories.

Iconics
Dragons
Animals
Figures (those pictures of painted miniatures)
Cartoon stuff (the Wil Wheaton, Smvrfs, Downer or Wisp/Crumbly esque avatars)

Perhaps other categories, as called for.

I'm often paging through them looking for a specific figure for a PBP avatar and end up overwhelmed with the amount of images that aren't really relevant to my search. Being able to pre-weed out dragons / miniatures / animals would help a bit.

+1. And with the amount of PbP's running on these forums, breaking down the avatars by AP would be great too!

That would be a tremendous help. Since I realize that would be a lot of work for someone, perhaps simply allowing people to 'tag' avatars with relevant keywords would be a possible solution. That way the community here could do the job without a staff member having to do so.

I would love the avatars to divided into catagories as well plus love to have nixie from the bonus beastiary as an avatar.

Seeker of Secrets has about a dozen face-shots that seem custom-made to be awesome avatars.

The Faction and NPC guides are also chock-full of suitable pictures.
