I have everything "Moonlight" installed. When I click launch I get a new window in Firefox and it looks like it's doing something and then... nothing.
I know this is needlessly grumbling, but I have to get it out:
The old CB worked fine under WINE in Linux. Just saying.
Any suggests or help appreciated. I don't intend on installing that virus, er, OS Windows just for the new CB.
Thanks,
S.

Same here exactly. Although I'm amazed you got CB to work in WINE - I couldn't get it to at all, and I couldn't find anyone who had through searching.
Any tips?
EDIT: Apparently, Moonlight is working on a 2 year old implementation of Silverlight's code. Nice. So that would explain why us Linux users are once again shafted.

Apologies. Just spoke with the person to set up CB for me on my computer. It's running in a Windows XP Virtual Machine. He said until something called Mono can emulate MS .NET3.5 it would work under WINE.
Yes, it does, but a VM is still the better solution, as with WINE the whole windows environment is not properly sandboxed. Also, with a VM, you have all the windows stuff in a single file, which makes it easy to backup or copy.

Can you post some instructions for getting the original CB working under WINE please.
Thanks,
