We're half-way. They should move here.

Holler if you're ever in Colorado!

Sebastian's not the only one in San Diego, you know. Heck, he's probably not even the only one with sparkly, pink hair!

For the record, I do not have sparkly, pink hair.

I think pink hair might clash with your current duty uniform.

Ohio is the place to be.....LOL, I'm sorry but I couldn't say that with a straight face.

I've been in San Diego for three weeks but, sadly, was unable to coordinate any kind of meet up. Chalk it up to my incredibly insane work schedule.

How funny that I have a game running in Round Rock...

Oh,

Just to follow up. I actually did find a game. Not pathfinder, but 3.5. I am looking for players for a game I'm starting this weekend (although it's not D&D or PF, it's near future sci-fi) if you're looking for something to do on alternate Saturday evenings (MDTPathfinder at yahoo dot com).

Won't be any time soon. (Also, I stick with 3.5.) Getting ready to head to the sandbox next year, so my Shackled City game will be on hold. My wife started up a Rise of the Runelords game for while I'm away. And we've got enough going with those as it is. We'd love to sit down with you at the Steeping Room for tea tho. It's part of the Domain, if you haven't heard of it yet.

Ah, good luck in the sandbox. One of my former players in STL is heading out too come January.

Not sure where it is, but if we can fit it in before you leave, would be great. We're still unpacking and learning where everything is, and haven't heard of the Domain or Steeping Room yet (but I love tea).

Just a heads up....Dragon's Lair, one of the local game store/comic shop is having an RPG Design Panel tomorrow starting at noon. Monte Cook will be there as well as Chris Pramas, Brandon Hodge, myself, and some other folks. Might be a good way to meet some other gamers in the area. Also, this weekend is Austin Comic Con at the convention center downtown. Quite a nerdy weekend here in central Texas.

Also, at the end of January is OwlCon in Houston. Check this thread for a few more Pathfinder-related details.

Wow! Lots of cool gaming stuff going on in Austin. I knew I liked that place for a good reason...well, other than the fact that my wonderful wife was raised there, that is. ;)

Same here! I keep thinking "Okay, I can meet the zombie for lunch on day x" only to find myself still working well into the night.

I am pretty sure he was just referring to Sebastian.

GRRRR, I forgot about that, and just noticed this post. :(

I'll try to make it to OwlCon, is it any good?

I just got back from the panel. Fun times, sorry you didn't see this until now-ish.

OwlCon is cool. It's a small, but old convention held on the Rice University campus. I only really know it from the Pathfinder side of things. I went for the first time a couple years ago primarily to meet the Houston Pathfinder crew, so I was only there for a day. Each year the number of Pathfinder players and tables grows, and I'm looking forward to this year's event. The crew is even going to run the Shadow Lodge event, which will be fun to see go off (even though I'm running a game in that slot, so I won't actually see it happen.)

I have a few months left, and will be on leave over Christmas and New Years. The only issue is our Australian Shepard isn't old enough to be home alone too long, so we may have to sit out in the cold. Hot tea will help, so we'll have to see.

The move is over, and I'm finally mostly settled. Been a long two months, lots of relatives having heart attacks or strokes (wow, those things come in batches it seems!). But everyone came through them fine. And neither me nor my wife self destructed after the move to TX. So, I'm finally back. You can start your flaming any time now. :)

Texas huh?

What part?

Mind if I ask a more specific region? I used to live in south Austin in the Pleasant Valley/William Cannon region.

The reasons I miss Austin are too numerous to list, but mostly, it's the food and the music.

Oh, sure. Kyle. I just didn't think anyone would be familiar enough with the area to know it. It's just south of Buda.

One thing I learned from that Monte Cook etc. panel, there are apparently tons of people who like Paizo and PF in Austin. Also met several former WotC employees, which was interesting. ^^;

Be sure to head to the Alamo Drafthouse early and often. ^_^
