I may have just missed it, but I can't figure out how (or if) the PC's Kingdom can gain more build points (or whatever they're called... I'm currently away from the book) to keep building onto their kingdom.
Can the PC's earn more build points? or are they stuck with the donation they recieve at the start?

The cheif way this is accomplished is by succeeding an Economy roll during the Income phase. Please note that you divide your total result by 5, not just the degree that you succeeded by. (ie with a Command DC of 24, if you roll a 33, you get 6 BP.)
The other cheif way is selling magic items to yourself. You need to wait until you get certain structures before you can do this. See the Income Phase. (This quickly starts becoming more profitable than anything else, much to the chagrin of many of us low-magic-types.)
Other, smaller ways include:
- succeeding a Stability check when Unrest is 0 nets you 1 BP
- certain results during the Event phase can give the PCs 1d6 or more BPs
- you can stimulate the economy directly: spend 4k in GP to get 1 BP (see Income Phase)
- it is very rare, but there are certain quests that give the PCs BP (such as clearing out Hargulka's lair) but these always give a pittance of BP IMHO
Those are the only official ways. I have houseruled that the PCs can go back to Restov once per year and make a DC 25 Diplo check (+5 for every year) to net themselves an additional 10 BP. (It's actually drastically more complicated than that: see my "Venture Capital" thread if interested.)
Alternatively, taking over other cities is kindof like free BP. And it's highly encouraged!

You will gain BPs during the Income phase. You can gain resources in several ways:
But don't forget that there's also consumption, in addition to building costs.
