Hey guys I'm looking for an old Greyhawk sourcebook that came out while TSR was still running the show (I think). The book was FULL of mage spells from the main Greyhawk wizards (Mordenkainen, Drawmij, Biby, Tenser etc) Each section had spells specific to these mages eg the Bigby spells were mostly Hand or Telekinetic based spells.
Does anyone recall the title of this book and if its still around for purchase?
Thanks in advance

Most likely you mean Greyhawk Adventures.
It's definitely out of print being 3 editions old.Ebay and similar will be your best chance.

What you are looking for is definitely Greyhawk Adventures. It features unique monsters, spells and magic items as well as an appendix for playing 0-level characters. It was published in 1988.
I have mine right here on my shelf :)
You must have more shelf space than me :) Mine is boxed with my 1st edition AD&D stuff iirc. The only 1E book I still keep handy is the DMG. I still find useful stuff in it...

Greyhawk Adventures by Jim Ward.
It was a pretty innovative book in its day...don't know how much value you'll get out of it now. Most of the flavor bits made it into later supplements, and a lot of the rules bits were obsoleted by later editions.
Working off of memory, we used it even into 2nd Edition. I recall using the specialty priest stuff (which wasn't really very balanced, but what did we know of or care about balance back then?). Some of the custom spells were cool. Several members of the Circle of 8 were effectively specialists (though technically just wizards), and their vanity spells were effectively a treasure trove of spells for an actual specialist with the same focus.
There was also some interesting background info about the Suel vs Bakluni war. Some interesting regional items.
Good stuff for a Greyhawk completist, but set your expectations to 1e standards. It was arguably one of the best 1e supplements, but it's thin, has black and white line art, and so forth.

We have used spells from that book in every version, and are still using them today. As some have said, some of the spells (most of the Bigby's) made it into later editions. The all time favorite, though, was 'Rary's Replay of the Past', used by wizards to embarrass fighters, rogues and clerics throughout the years. The orb spells were also on that list, they made it at least to the Spell Compendium, although I don't know if PF has them yet.
But none of the spells were particularly overpowering, and if it doesn't exist in the current rulebooks, I just make them pay time and money for researching it, and let them have it.

The Orange Spine GHA was one of the first/last sourcebooks printed for both 1/2E--mine actually has a callout on the cover saying it's for use with both editions.
This is one of the few old hc orange spine 1E books you may still be able to find in cellophane. I picked up a couple for five dollars each through eBay a couple years ago. It seems TSR printed quite a few.
