Beginning with GameMastery Map Pack: Shops, due in November, we're adding a new feature to our GameMastery Map Pack line. They now use the same write-on/wipe-off coating that we use on our GameMastery Flip-Mats, meaning you can use dry-erase, wet-erase, and permanent markers with new Map Packs—and the price remains the same!
You should also check out the GameMastery Map Pack: Shops product page to see how it can be used to reveal the interiors of the buildings in GameMastery Flip-Mat: City Streets, due in December. (We'll be doing something similar with Flip-Mat: Necropolis (due in March) and Map Pack: Crypts (due in April).

Changes like this are slowly changing my extremely negative opinions of the Map Pack products. I really hated some of the early map packs as I felt they were far better suited to a set of smaller flip-mats. The component maps were sometimes hard to line up, and one person's dragging sleeve would completely wipe out a board with little effort. Changing the product to focus on smaller one-shot maps over the component maps started my opinion swing and it's nice to see you focusing on those products. By tying that product directly into a Flip Mat, it lets me know you guys heard some of those original complaints and have started to really think of some good product integration. Coating it with the same material as the flip mat really is just icing on the cake at this point.
Nice work.
