Looking for PBP

Hello everyone! I'm putting this up b/c...well, obvious. I'm looking for pbp campaigns! I already have a character made up (Summoner), but I am glad to make others if the need be.

I know that my record for posting is, by far, low. However, I do have about 2-years of experience in rl campaigns. I hope this helps decisions when you're seeking people for a PBP!

Welcome aboard, Romuken! Your best shot is to check Gamer Connection at least daily and apply as new threads requesting players appear. Games open fairly frequently, but also fill up within a day or two. Most DMs will post for players rather than look through "I want to play" posts.

(Although occasionally you get lucky. The last fellow I gave this advice to was offered a slot in a game in the very next post.)

Of course, someone started a thread just like this two days ago and a GM showed up along with about a dozen other interested players and turned into a pair of games in the character-building stages right now, so don't turn your back on this thread.

(That said, if a GM shows up interested in recruiting you for a thread, I would likely be interested if they had two slots. Just sayin'.)

Well, I haven't given up on this thread yet. So far it seems as if all spots get filled relatively easily. Bright side is that the down time allows me to think of character ideas.

And if a DM did have 2 open slots left, you bet I'd go for it...less it's 4th edition. Sorry, but I don't have the books for that.

Well, seems like I'll be playing in his as a summoner. Just gotta be sure My big-bad eidolon don't come out...say, there's something that puzzles me. Can people see the characters I made on the website by clicking on my name and going to my profile? Or do I need to make a forum alias that links to it?

I'm also looking to try PBP for the first time (have plenty of experience with pen and paper gaming), just in case a DM shows up and this turns into a recruitment drive.

Willing to play almost any class, and make a character based on the campaign and other characters.
