Freeman Insurgents p. 11,
CMD 20 = 10 + 3 (BAB) + 3(Str Mod) + 2 ( Dex Mod) + 2 (Improved Grapple)
SB says 18
They also have a composite shortbow and should be able to add their Str bonus for damage up to the max for the composite weapon. There is no Str bonus max listed for the bow so at least the shortbow should says (+0 Str).

If I recall correctly, they don't generally include bonuses that only apply to one type of Manoeuvre in the CMD statistci which would make the 18 correct.

Well, the Ijo Warriors p. 20 have "CMD 16 (18 vs. grapple)" to show their Improved Grapple, I guess the Freeman Insurgents should too.

Adding too many calculated bonuses to CMB and CMD tends to cause that line in the stat block to turn into a 2 line entry or in some cases even more. We generally don't like that, since the stat blocks take up more than enough room already.
We generally include grapple check modifiers because those seem to occur the most often, but for other modifiers we generally only include them if a creature has a specific bonus to a specific maneuver, but if it gets a bonus from, say, a feat, we generally leave that out of the stat block.

Composite Bows do not automatically add the Str bonus to damage. From the Core Rules:
The default composite shortbow requires a Strength modifier of +0 or higher to use with proficiency. A composite shortbow can be made with a high strength rating to take advantage of an above-average Strength score; this feature allows you to add your Strength bonus to damage, up to the maximum bonus indicated for the bow. Each point of Strength bonus granted by the bow adds 75 gp to its cost.
Since there is no Strength bonus indicated, it just a default composite short bow.

Rival Faction Agents p. 34 damage for short sword should be 1d6+1 instead of 1d6+2, two-weapon fighting damage bonus is halved.
No, only the off-hand weapon is halved.
What is this desire to find mistakes everywhere? Even if there is a mistake or two here and there (and so far, you haven't actually found one), is it really that big a deal?

When fighting with 2 weapons, the primary weapon still adds your strength modifier to damage. The off-hand weapon adds 1/2 your strength modifier to damage.
So, the stat block is correct.
