I've never played a play-by-post game, and I'm interested in trying one. I would prefer a horror setting, but I'll play anything. Please let me know if you are running a campaign that needs players.

PbP DMs are usually beseiged with candidates when they post an opening here. If you really want to play, the thing to do is visit this forum and look for new (less than 30 posts) threads two or three times a day. Then post in those threads. Most of the DMs here are more than willing to help a new player get into a game, if that player shows some initiative. Stick to it. It took me two or three weeks of active searching to find my first game here.

I am starting a PbP here on Paizo that you might enjoy. Ruleset is 3.5. It's a homebrew fantasy/horror game with a gritty and mysterious tone. I'm allowing a 25 pt buy generation. But you begin at 9 instead of 8 with 1:1 up to 14, 1:2 to 16 and 1:3 to 18. Check out my thread if it sounds like something you might like to try. Looking for 2-3 more players.
