I have to ask... why? I understand that it looks cool, but it is not a realistically better way to fight, it is however a versatile way. You can use two hand on your weapon, switch to one handed use, have a hand ready to grapple, a knife to throw, a spell to cast. That is a free hand fighters strength complete versatility and ability to shift with the changing battlefield condition. Having feats that allow him to do more damage just makes me ask what does the Greatsword fighter get as a further boost, because having you swing one handed as hard as a two handed swing makes no sense. In other words not balanced, and of questionable need or purpose.
