Grand Lodge 4/5 **

Do I need to purchase the current scenarios or can I purchase any of the older ones? Can I run them in any order(except for the ones that come in a series)?

Welcome to the world of the Pathfinder Society.

You can purchase and run any of the scenarios (though a small number have now been retired from organized play and the earlier ones are using 3.5 D&D rules, not Pathfinder rules).

You can run them in any order (apart from the series ones which have restrictions on the order they can be played). There are a small number which have some reference to earlier scenarios -such as the appearance of a specific NPC - but you do not have to run them in a specific order).

Thanks for the help! I'll probably just start with a Tier 1-3 season 1 scenario since the players will all be just starting. I have been playing in the Denver area for a couple months so I do have a level 2 character already. I'm just so happy my local game store is allowing me to host a PFS bi-monthly event!!!

Note that there isn't such a thing a Tier 1-3 scenario. Scenarios suitable for new players are either Tier 1-5 (in which they'll be playing sub-tier 1-2), or Tier 1-7 (in which case they'll still be playing in sub-tier 1-2).

There's a thread here which suggest some good starter modules for new players. You'd be surprised how many Season 0 adventures show up in that list.
