Art

Website Feedback

Just wondering if Paizo has ever considered putting up the art from the books on the website for fans to download and use in online games (maptool, fantasy grounds, etc). WotC used to have theirs up for free but then made them insider only. It would be a great addition to the website and would bring a lot of traffic to the site.

I know a lot of people will say buy the pdf versions of the books and rip the images off of there. But to be honest, I don't really use the pdf's but have purchased all of the core PF books and plan to continue doing so. I would hate to have to invest all that money just for some jpegs. At this point, I spend a lot of time scanning images from my books.

Anyway, just thought it would be a great addition to the site.

A reasonable amount of the Art goes up on the blog, which is then available via the community use license.

The art is expensive, and liable to be reused in later projects. TBH it's generous that they put up what they do.

I have asked about them more than once. I think lack of time was one of the answers why there is not art gallery/DB yet.
