I downloaded one today. The BIC Concert Lighter.
I creates a virtual lighter on your screen that you can "flick" on and snuff out. If you move your droid around, the flame reacts accordingly.
It's probably just a silly waste of battery power, true, but it's
neat-o.
Anyone else got some cool freebies to share?

The Schottgun app saved my sanity once.
Personally, I really like the Tricorder (turns your phone into a sensor device, complete with solar ray/sunspot/radiation info, though they 'cheat' a bit on that).
Google sky map is great and a neat thing to show off.
On a much more useful level, there's a calculator app called handyCalc that is VERY useful. A lot more than just a calculator (scientific or otherwise). I was very impressed by what an intelligently designed calculator with access to the cloud can do. Plus it's darned handy for a xp (or subtracting hit points for high level characters).
