Dark Archive

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

I would say something, but people have been poking fun of my for making my supportive with nothing to really say post. So instead I will just ramble on about nothing at all, showing my support, while still not really saying anything.

More art have come in recently, from Carlos Torreblanca, Darren Calvert and Daniel K. Lorentsen... I hope to find some time to post a few more previews later today!

Yep, I found some time for a few more sneak peaks of the Eldritch Secrets artwork! And yes, I really should be doing some serious work... like preparing for school! But this is just so much more fun...

Oh, and as of this moment more than 310 people have picked up the Open Playtest of Eldritch Secrets!

Check it out here!

PLEASE tell me the book's interior art is going to be in color.

Listen carefully... the art of Eldritch Secrets will be in colour... yes, there will be greens, reds, yellows, purples and even some blues and maybe even a bit of pink!

I thought that was obvious from the sneak peaks :)

Ahhhhhhhhh, thank-you, sir. My irrational fears have been alleviated.

I just couldn't imagine such wonderful pieces being depressed and muted into black and white!

Love the stylus for Create Ink. ;)

Axel,

To threadjack a moment, I am curious about your blog entry for 08/12. Not sure how I'd feel about a new roleplaying system, but I'd definitely be interested in a new campaign setting that's Pathfinder compatible, but with some d20 Modern touches plugged in. Definitely curious to follow up on this.

Well, I'm unsure about the system at the moment, and my original idea wasn't based around a specific system - it was basically about playing the game in a different way (inspired by a very cool new movie playing in theatres at the moment) :)

I'm not sure that my idea would work with the Pathfinder game, since what I'm looking to make is a Near-Future game (and not a fantasy game), but I might end up creating it without any system at all, merely based on the idea itself, and then people could fill out the blanks with any system of their choosing.

At the moment, we are starting up a monday game which will feature the Heist theme, and I'm looking forward to testing some of my ideas there, although, as a player, not as a GM. We are using the World of Darkness system, which seem a good (not perfect) match for my idea.

But really, I'd absolutely be interested in hearing what people would like out of a near-future setting.

How are you defining 'near-future'?
