Adding a character for my son

If I add a character to the Society for my son and we plan to play together can I add his character to my existing account or do I need to make another account for him?

Thanks,

I think there would be flags raised if two characters with the same PFS account number were reported for the same events. It would be better to add a separate account.

The only thing is you will need a different e-mail address to make him his own account. If he's already got one no big deal. If he doesn't, I can just give you an unassigned membership card with a number on it at MichiCon and he can register it when he's old enough.

As a person who has a son who plays the wife and I made him create his own account on the boards. We also made sure to know what his log ins were for both his email and the boards. Then again he is only nine and well I want to protect my child from the interwebs.

So in closing make a new account for him and make sure you know the passwords for the accounts and have a long talk about responsible emailing and posting.

Provided you have access to an e-mail address for your son - make a new account.

I've so far generated a total of four accounts.

The first was my own.

The second one was for a friend as I wanted to give him a PDF copy of the Core Rules for free. This did predate (or I was unaware of it) the electronic gift vouchers here. I gave him the log-in details and told him to change them for himself. It took him a while - but when he started PFS he actually finally changed it and is now an active user.

The third account was for my wife. She wanted to play but not bothered with the on-line stuff. She now started to add a profile for her characters but it was dormant for at least half a year.

The fourth one was for my son. He hasn't used it - and I added his character. But it will be there once he is old enough to take care of it himself.

You will need two accounts for PA as for example in my case I can't play twice (wife and son) and GM at the same time.

Yes - it felt awkward the first time I generated accounts for others. There is a possibility for misuse. On the other hand - this here is a community and I assume a certain amount of trust between everyone - until proven othervice. In an ideal world I wouldn't have generated any of the above accounts and each person would have done them on their own - but there were reasons in each case.

Thanks for the responses!! He is old enough to manage his account but he probably won't be doing anything with it but playing in the society. I will get him signed up and added to the Society before tonight's event.
