Is there a section of the site for free Pathfinder supplements like character sheets and things like that?
I picked up the core rulebook and the players guide at Gencon this weekend and was wondering what tools are offered on the web but cannot make heads or tails of where to look on the actual site. I think I am blind.
Also are the 10 dollar PDF's the full version of the hardcovers? Because I sure could use that Bestiary but have no local gamestores close by.
Thanks

You can find lots of freebies on d20pfsrd.com. Check the Downloads area and then throughout the site everything else is free. If you have something in particular you can't find, just reply here or email me.

Also, here is the official PF SRD - it has most (all?) of the monsters form the bestiary and such in there, along with the rules form the core book, just like the 3.5 SRD did.
One thing to be carefulw ith with d20pfsrd.com is that in addition to all the official stuff, they do have some fan created things on there. It's a great resource, but check with your GM about some things or you may end up using something that's not a Paizo-published thing, which some GMs don't like.

Correct. We do include both fan created and fan converted content, though both are very clearly indicated as to their nature. The VAST majority of content though is either Paizo core content, Paizo "non-core" content (meaning, content from books other than the "core" line), converted pre-PFRPG Paizo content, or, lastly, converted pre-PFRPG NON-Paizo content. Then we sprinkle in some 3rd Party Publisher content that has been specifically created for Pathfinder.
However, in any event, DrowVampyre is correct that you should confirm with your GM if (s)he allows the content you are interested in, but that's generally true of almost any content.

Yeah, you should ask anyway. And I didn't mean to detract at all...um...d20pfsrd (seems weird to be using that as a username too, lol), I just didn't want Hudson to find out the hard way that something wasn't allowed. The site is a really great resource, but it taunts me with things I can't have (my current GM avoids all those non-Paizo and pre-PF Paizo things)! ^_-

Unfortuately this is precisely the reason why I avoid d20pfsrd. I've had players at my table with 3PP stuff taken from there, and I really don't like having to double-check the PC's for anything not kosher :/ I applaud the idea of gathering 3PP content, but a visible line must be drawn between Paizo/PFS-legal stuff and 3PP.

If you want to avoid 3PP stuff, check out the Archives of Nethys. No 3PP material, only Paizo released mechanics.

And that's why I love the Archive of Nethys :)

There are also some free adventures available from Paizo.
Hollow's Last Hope and Revenge of the Kiobold King are dnd3.5, rather than PathfinderRPG but they don't take much conversion.
Master of the Fallen Fortress is fully up to date with the PathfinderRPG. It's not Paizo at their best but it's pretty solid and worth a look.

It's also worth a look because it includes pregenerated character sheets for the Advanced Player's Guide classes.

I understand your concern. I know fully well that players sometimes see something and just assume its ok. It's really the same though if that player went to his favorite local gaming store and bought a new 3pp book and then made his character that way. He should confirm with his GM if that book or source is approved first otherwise he'll find himself making his PC a second time.
We indicate on every single item on the site what its source is with the intention of allowing a GM to say "You can make your PC with Paizo Core materials only" or "You can make your PC with only Paizo materials, ie, core plus anything converted from pre-PFRPG" or even, "You can use anything on d20pfsrd.com EXCEPT THAT BROKE-ASS Artificer" (lol). Since every single thing on the site has a badge or stamp indicating its source the player can easily look and say "oh that's not core, I better move on."
I'm glad you like the idea of including the 3PP content though and I am open to suggestions as to better ways to indicate that it is not "core" materials. We want to encourage and promote the 3PP market in order to help it grow and we felt that including some highlights of that content on the site might open more eyes to that publishers quality of work and possibly send new sales their way. As I said though, we're open to ideas on how better to achieve that goal. Since we're fully open to anyone assisting, if someone has a better idea, just send me a Google ID and then get your butt to work making it happen :)

The particular problem happened with Prayer Feats, which are listed next to core feats and my player assumed they are from the regular book.
Perhaps, color-coding 3PP material would help ? Then I could just say "pick anything that's black text on white background, white text on grey means it's 3PP". Actually non-PFS approved material could be color-coded too ...

Is it considered a "Ninja" if I gave the same link 10 hours earlier ???
:-P
Then again, a little extra Gary-love never hurt any thread.

Hey, Lilith! Seeing your post reminded me to do a flyby at DMTools. I was happy to be able to log in. Does this mean DMTools will be going full speed again soon?
| therealthom |
Cool. I'm looking forward to it. Are you currently taking submissions or just testing your own creations? Can a talentless computer-noob help in any way?
While I jack this thread, I will also stay on topic by plugging the DMTools website. Lilith has put together a nice grab-bag of stuff. Random generators for encounters, spell-books, towns, etc. I think she's rebuilding the site from 3.5 to Pathfinder . At one time there was a huge repository of 3.5 PC stat-blocks and it looks like there will be again someday.
Lilith, please correct any misinformation I have spouted.
