Product Discussion

If so, you need to become a Quid Novi? subscriber by clicking on the previous link and following the on-screen instructions.

Not only is this twice-monthly newsletter free, not only do subscribers get a 33% discount on Spes Magna PDFs purchased at Paizo.com, but you also get free PDF previews before the general public!

Along with Quid Novi?'s arrival in in-boxes in the wee hours of Sunday, 8 August, subscribers will receive the Barbaric Traits Preview PDF. At long last your barbaric character can be Battle-Born, exclaim a Motivational Expletive, benefit from being Superstitious, or be a Rebellious Beauty. This new PFRPG PDF includes those plus 8 more traits inspired by my recent re-reading of Robert E. Howard's best barbarian stories and watching DVRed Thundarr the Barbarian cartoons.

The Barbaric Traits Preview PDF is in the queue waiting to be emailed exclusively to Quid Novi? subscribers this coming Sunday, 8 August. I hope to have the larger, for-sale PDF released for purchase here and at DriveThruRPG by the end of the third week of August (if not a bit sooner).

While waiting for more feedback about Ars Metamagica, I've been doing research and writing for Barbaric Traits. I've nearly hit my minimum of 36 traits, 9 of each for Combat, Faith, Magic, and Social. I might attempt some racial and regional traits. Not sure yet. I don't want to stretch the concept too thin.

On a tangential threadjack, did you decide to take some of those feats you were working on and turn them into traits instead? I wasn't sure where you were going with that other project, but it came to mind as I was reading this.

Carry on. =)

Sort of. I've basically shelves the feats for now. The more I worked on them, the more they irriated me. I've got enough irritation right now without self-inflicting.
