I was overjoyed to AP 36 and 37 in my downloads. However, when I try to download either (regardless of whether I try the single or chapter version), the download fails, and I get a message like this below:

Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL pathfinderAdventurePath37SoulsForSmugglerSShivSerpentSSkull1Of6PFRPGPDF-Alt .zip.

Apache/1.3.41 Server at remote1.paizo.com Port 80

Help me, customer service, you're my only hope!

Hmm... your only hope on this one is actually going to be Gary (webmaster).

I'll let him know you are in need of assistance.

thanks,

OK, this is a weird one. What browser are you using?

Microsoft Internet Explorer, oh great Gary that is my only hope. In the past, I've not had any such issue, regardless of using Safari or Explorer.

As an update to Gary & Co., I tried to download the PDFs several days latter... and I succeeded. Hopefully, the aforementioned issue was just an isolated incident, a fluke we can now all laugh at or simply never speak of again. Just like the Skywalker siblings kissing.

Not wanting to bang on about this (I've posted about security before), but those exceptions should not be seen by the normal viewing public.

Keep them in a log file and give the surfer a generic error message like "Oops! Please contact Gary Teter" or something.

It's probably overkill, but I like best practices :-)

99 percent of website errors actually do get silently logged and emailed to the tech team. This one didn't because it's really weird.

Thanks Gary, that's good to know! I hope you don't think I'm questioning the security of your site, as all your previous comments have reassured me greatly (just like this one). I just can't help commenting when I see stuff I complain about at my work (don't ask).

Cheers!
