Mild spoiler:

In Stolen Land, after Happs & Co. are sent packing, the AP states that Oleg is willing to pay full price for loots.

I take it that once the initial adrenaline rush of the bandit encounter is over he returns the price he's willing to pay for found treasures to the more reasonable and standard 50% of Core Rulebook value for mundane items?

Just wanted to make sure I'm keeping the party $$ in line with what the AP writers had in mind for game balance. Hoping to avoid auditing the entire AP... Help appreciated!

I think you'll be fine giving them full value. I have and it hasn't warped anything. At third level, they still can't afford +1 weapons for the entire party!

I think Oleg is smart enough to realize after the second or third return trip of the party, that these folks are going to be a steady form of revenue and change his sleepy, little out of the way trading post into something more.

Paying them full value means Oleg is making 0% profit.

Jason, the way you handled it sounds fine. Personally I have Oleg buy goods from the party at 55% value as a favour to them in gratitude.

Why? There is nothing that says Oleg sells his wares at book price, right? There are three things that generate profits for a business : Location, Supply and Demand. Besides, the party will become a main line source of goods and products that he wouldn't normally have in his inventory. He can charge whatever he wants, cause the alternative is a 100 mile trip to Restov.

I'm my KM, Svetlana is actually the brains behind the business.
Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

Well, I'm not too concerned with the verisimilitude of the economy, moreso with the gps worth of gear available to my PCs. Don't want them undergeared for the Stag Lord.

If they started doing large transactions, Oleg will certainly take a cut - he is a merchant after all...

Speaking of which, need to go find that bear trap thread. They disarmed a couple dozen of 'em... and the APG has a different cost from what was in my brain.
