I can't believe it took me this long to figure out that Phargas is a bard...

I've really enjoyed that character in the story. Would make for an interesting character in a game, to play a bard passing himself off as a cleric.

Admittedly, that's an easier thing to do over a longer term, but my current character is a half-orc wizard that passes himself off as a barbarian...

I did that once. People thought I was a barbarian because of the greataxe. Most of my spells were buffs and utility spells.


I just today read all 6 of these stories. Not sure I ever figured out his class, but they were a fun duo.

I must admit, I wouldn't have figured that out (I am through 5 of the 6 chapters), if I hadn't stumbled over your post... the card game aboard the barge and its description how Phardas picks up the rules makes much more sense now. Thanks!
