The Lancelot Albion was a mech in the anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. It was also the name of a Gundam in the Gundam series.
The word itself is the oldest known name for the islands of Great Britain, being a proto-Celtic word that means "earth" or "land". It is still sometimes used to poetically refer to Great Britain.

Both Albion and Armitage have been used in a variety of sources, including several different anime or manga series. Albion in this case was referring to Great Britain, and Armitage was from the character in William Gibson's Neuromancer, just FYI.
