Koto is pretty cool to watch someone play - especially songs where they retune it in the middle! I had a friend in Japan that took traditional dancing lessons, and she had a friend on the koto and shakuhachi while she danced as a performance for my mother and aunt and me when they visited. It was very cool!

Jeez, I know that feeling. My wisdom teeth cracked after they came in. After several tooth infections and lots and lots of pain, they're finally fallen out. Speaking of, I finally have my appointment for next month(!!!) for a basic cleaning and a look at how far along my gum disease(!!!!!!) is. *sigh*

Yeah... that would go on the list of movies I never want to see. But I generally just don't watch horror flicks anyway-- I have a fairly low tolerance for either scary stuff or gore in movies. Combining the two is just a big no for me.

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Sid and Nancy caused a nation-wide panic when, in their frenzied, worktime lovemaking, they accidently caused the company servers to go down. Meanwhile, a massive snow storm buried the bus being used as transportation by the We Hate Joss Whedon anti-fan club, stranding them on a desolate stretch of Route 66. And across town, everyone was preparing for the arrival of.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

What's broke? The class or the player?
I'm playing a summoner in our campaign right now. And I've seen a fair amount of hatred for that class -- most of which seems to revolve around incorrect builds if anything. But the more I look at the discussions, I can't help but wonder if it's the player that's "broke". I'd post something but I'm sure that it would devolve into a flame war that I ultimately don't care about.
My summoner has a quadruped eidolon so it has a lot of attacks making it somewhat useful in combat. Although it nearly died in a fight recently and I had to dismiss it. The summoner part I'm building more along the lines of a utility character and building up use magic device (since we don't have a mage other than me).
If I really cared, I'm sure that I could build an incredible character of any class that would totally dominate any and every combat scenario. That just isn't me or how I like to play (or what I consider "fun").
Am I alone?
Oh, no. It can't be the player. And certainly not the GM. It's Jason Bulmahn that's broke! Get him!

Actually in our gaming group the Boyfriend has made the comment that the Summoner and Alchemist are overpowered with a few attacks/abilities in the way our group builds em. He has had to make a few new house rules.

Am I alone?
I am having a very hard time dealing with the summoner in my Kingmaker campaign. Part of this was errors in how he was being played that we have since corrected, part of this is a smart player well min maxed. Part of this is the nature of enemies they've faced - dumb beasts or those unfamiliar with them would be unaware of the fact that it's critical to attack the summoner and not the eidolon. Now that they are a year into ruling their kingdom, they will be facing more intelligent opponents that are aware of their abilities.
Another part of the problem is I have seven PCs, four of whom have pets and all but one of whom have spellcasting abilities.

Yeah, I need to rewrite a lot to make things even mildly interesting for them.
