Frazetta's work is amazing, and he set a style that has been mimiced by many over the years. I don't think you can compare Frazetta to Adams though.... styles are too far apart. For my taste I still prefer the classic comic style opposed to a lot of the work today. But I'm sure one thing we can all agree on is that Liefeld should die....slowly and horribly....and I mean Hooksaw Mountain horrible.

So hubby and I are talking about trying to quit smoking...any tips/ideas?A friend of mine recently quit. She found a hypnosis app for her iphone where this guy is speaking about how you don't want to smoke anymore. She'd listen to it every night as she dropped off to sleep.
She's been smoking 10 years and quit with only a single cigarette relapse a month or so in.
My parents spent years trying to quit. Mom would quit, but Dad refused, making it really hard on Mom. Everytime she had stress she'd relapse. Then Dad had life-threatening (unrelated to smoking) problems and fear of his own mortality finally got him to quit - so they're both able to stop now. It's been a couple years, so far so good.
QUitting smoking is just not easy. I wheedled and complained and aggravated my wife over it, but she only quit when she was ready and had a friend who also smoked as regularly as she did as her quit buddy. That last seems to be the most helpful- you need someone there to help you through it who understands what the cravings are like. Do you smoke more than Moorluck or less? If so, then you need to find someone who smokes at the same rate you do who is just as tired of smoking as you are.

It scares the s*%% out of me that there are people who can't imagine life without cell phones, Facebook, or the internet.
I've been living without that second one for years and I'm just fine!
Not sure about cell phones either. If anything, I'm glad they broke the back of ma bell, especially in NY, but you can get me on my house phone just as easiily as you can my cell phone.
I never got too into comic books (just TMNT, Tank Girl and JTHM, really), but I like the art.Yeh-heh!
Despite the horrible movie, which I kinda liked anyway, I loves me some Tank Girl.
Comics were my escape, sitting around and daydreaming about super heroes, and crushing on She-Hulk, got me through some of the darkest moments. I can't get into them today though, I know I may be in the minority but if I want dark and depressing I'll watch the news.

I have to agree with you on the size of her figure, but I totally agree with Moorluck on the whole blond gypsy thing. It doesn't make her look exotic. It makes her look cheap. And that's coming from someone who has a bit of a thing for blonds.

Garden mulch is an old and honored tradition! I think Rob would be up to the challenge of helping plants grow, you obviously don't have the same faith in the man that I do.
