At my local con, Miscon (Missoula, MT this past memorial day weekend) I got the chance to meet Robert and Connie Thomson. They are wonderful people; friendly and approachable, knowledgeable and enthusiatic about the game we all love.
They had a table in the vendor room stocked with product which seemed to generate a fair amount of interest. (As an aside this was the first year Pathfinder had a good showing at Miscon...one, frequently two Pathfinder sessions on offer each day, which played to a full table each time.) Robert ran sessions of Albion Armitage's Astounding Arsenal. Due to conflicting con obligations I wasn't able to get in on any of his games, but it looked like the tables were full and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
I picked up Phantasia Zoologica I: Dogs, and my wife insisted on Luven Lightfinger’s Gear & Treasure Shop, which is fortunate for me since that's proving to be all kinds of awesome. Comparisons have been made to Aurora's Whole Realms Catalog, and I think this is pretty accurate. It's full of the kinds of detail my players and I crave.
In my opinion they're the best kind of third party publisher Paizo could hope for. They have fun, interesting products that expand and support the system. Anyway, Robert and Connie, thanks so much for coming to Miscon. We're fortunate to have you guys nearby. See you next Miscon...

Thanks for the kind words! It was great meeting you and your wife, and all the other wonderful folks at MisCon. We're glad that you are enjoying Gear & Treasure so much. That's exactly the kind of reaction we were hoping for about that product.
You bet we'll be there next year! Before leaving, we secured our booth for next year, and reserved our room as well. We won't miss it!
Robert
