Need some creative help here from all of you creative people.

I need names for the Negative Energy Plane and Positive Energy Plane.

All the other planes have cool names... but NEP and PEP just suck... surely there is a better name for them!

Thanks in advance!

I like those

More info for you...

working on a spell/ ability similar to Shadow Conjuration but its source is the Negative Energy Plane. So, Negative Energy Plane Conjuration just sounds uber lame. Pathos Conjuration on the other hand sounds intriguing!

There several more ideas I have for using NEP, but the name just made me shudder! lol

And the cool part is the PC version (ie the good aligned version) could be called Vital Conjuration which also sounds cool...

More name options from you creative types

Thanks so much Joe! Great name options!

I like all of Joe's suggestions!

But, some more anyway;

Negative - The Void, Oblivion, Nihilus, The End of All Things, Eternal Hunger, That Which Devours, The Serpent Apophis, The Black Spiral

Positive - The Source, Primus, The Font of Creation, the Wellspring Eternal, The First Flame, The Mother of All

Someone conjuring with negative or positive energy might refer to the technique as 'destructive conjuration' or 'generative conjuration.'

Someone with a more reductionist philosophy might refer to these sorts of conjuration as 'subtractive conjuration' or 'additive conjuration,' as they see negative energy as taking things out of the world.

Instead of 'conjuring darkness' (or cold, or death), they see the process as subtracting light (or heat, or life) from the world. Positive conjurations would add light, or warmth, or vital energy, to the world, as so be 'additive.'

They would still regard 'negative' conjuring as conjuring, as the mechanism is the same, a gateway is being opened to another place, only, in this case, it is a hungering empty dark place, that draws in energies from the material world, and, depending on the nature of the gate that the conjurer creates, might only be able to consume light (creating darkness) or heat (creating cold) or life energy (creating 'negative energy damage,' which is no more 'energy' than cold is energy.

Negative energy damage becomes merely the explanation for the removal of positive energy from living creatures, just as cold is the explanation for the damage caused by the removal of heat from living systems. Under this sort of paradigm, 'negative energy' is just the void taking away from the living world, it isn't a 'power' in and of itself.
