Reinforced Glass - help / suggestions

Okay

In my game, I am playing in a futuristic Pathfinder game and have come across and interesting problem. My players were in a vehicle and a small air elemental flew up to the vehicle's windshield and attacked it (to get in). When I looked through several resources of mine to find the hardness of reinforced (or bullet-proof) glass, which include spycraft and d20 modern, I found none.

So here's my question. What would you guys stat for reinforced glass? Normal glass has a hardness of 1 and 1 hp/inch of thickness. Right now I have it at hardness 1, 5 hp/inch.

Thanx in advance.

bumping in hopes of reviving thread and getting some feedback before my next session...

I know of no official source for reinforced glass, but I would put it at hardness 5 and 5 hp/inch (with 1" thickness being the norm).

If you dont mind using fantasy stuff then theres glasssteel in Forgotten Realms that has hardness 20 and 40 Hp per inch thickness.

not at all. I'm all about fantasy in my sci-fi. As is, im running a space opera game where its pathfinder rules i just stat'ed out some guns, and renamed carts and horses as cars and spaceships, and good to go. Just call certain magic items cybernetics and its like your playing in the future.

anyhow, thanks for the advice. I don't think i'll go quiet as extreme as glassteel with adamantine hardness, but 5 with 5 hp sounds good.

I would probably boost the hardness (maybe to 10) and keep the hp about the same for the object. Glass has a tendency to bend, but not break, and if it does get damaged beyond a scratch it's usually going to completely break unless the glass is thick.
