So, I'm in a little bit of a money crunch, and I was recently talking to a friend of mine about ways to make extra money in this economy, and he reminded me that the best way to enjoy your job is to do something you love. So, I'm taking that advice to heart and applying it to my love of RPGs and my decades of experience as a GM.
My qualifications include:
- Active GM and player for many game systems since 1978.
- Familiarity with a multitude of game systems, from D&D 1E to Pathfinder, Champions 1E to Mutants and Masterminds, Call of Cthulhu, and more!
If you live in the Northeast Ohio area and are in need of a GM, I am available to run the game YOU want for a flat rate of $12.50 per hour. Here is what you get for your money:
- The RPG of your choice. I can and will run any of the following games: Pathfinder, D&D 3.5, AD&D 2E, Call of Chthulhu, Mutants and Masterminds, Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, Witch Hunter, or Deadlands (Pinnacle system). Other games can be requested, but it will take some time for me to become familiar with the system.
- The style of game YOU want to play. You set the rules for character creation and starting power level. You decide what campaign setting you wish to use. You decide which published adventures you want to play. Basically, you set the limits, and I will run the game based on them. I can even teach you the rules if you want to try a new game.
- Free Trial. The first 2 hour session is free. This way, you can take my GM style out for a test drive before you decide if you would like to hire me as your regular GM. After your free trial, we can discuss how often you would like to game, and how long each session will be.
- I come to YOU. I will come to your home, or anywhere in Northeast Ohio you wish to game, and I will supply a battlemat, GM screen, core rule books, and of course my own dice.

I think this is great idea. 4 players could get a 4 hour session for the price of a movie each, I wish I had thought of it. Good thing we live in different markets. Good luck with your new enterprise.

Quick clarification based on some inquiries I have received: The $12.50 per hour is for the gaming session. It is not a per player fee. In other words, if you have a group of 4, 6, 8, whatever, the TOTAL Fee is $12.50/hour, which means your gaming group would split the cost among each member.
For example:
A group of 4 players wants to play for 4 hours.
Total charge for the session is (4 x $12.50 = $50.00).
Split among the 4 players means the cost is $12.50 per player for the session.
