Possible present for the wife; is it any good?
Twas a great game, if a little short. A skilled player can beat it in a couple of days. If you are going to get her RDR, get her GUN as well- at least the latter has an open world to explore after you beat the(INCREDIBLY ENGROSSING) game.

Right on.
I think she's got that one; it's so hard to keep track of.
Double check. That game was AMAZING- slow to start but about halfway through the game got a storyline that was one of the best things I"ve seen in years- it was less like a game and more like a movie. IMO, it succeeded where MGS4 failed.

Long answer: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is to say, if you like being a cowboy on the range, killing banditos, skinning wolves and riding horses then you are in for a great time!
