Dropping an event - How to do?

I may have to drop one of my events due to a dinner I've been invited to. How does one go about freeing one up at this late date?

Will there be a way to give up tickets to someone who would actually enjoy participating in that event? I know trades are closed, but are the physical tickets still transferable?

Yes! In fact, we'll probably have a "leave-a-ticket/take-a-ticket" thing going somewhere.

There isn't really a way to drop an event registration at this point, and it wouldn't do much anyway, since there is no way for someone else to sign up for the now-empty seat.

However, there is nothing forcing you to attend an event if you've changed your mind. If you're at the Con, you can give your ticket away to someone there, but otherwise the GM will just run the game a seat light or grab someone from the hallway.
