There are 2 groups right now. I'm playing a 4th level wizard right now. Other players have characters of various levels (higher and lower than 4th) and classes...

I have not played PFS before, but from what I can gather, we would play a specific level-appropriate adventure for a certain range of character levels. And newbies start at level 1?

Does that sound about right?

Yes, all characters start at level 1. The tier of the scenario that you play is determined by the average level of all the members of your party.

just thinking the irony that the only shop (never got my PFS off the ground at the guardtower, RL kept intervening) in Columbus doesn't do free RPG day. (With a PFS acceptable scenario)
