On traits and legality

Pathfinder Society

Are all the traits in the "Pathfinder RPG Character Traits" legal for pathfinder society? I think so but I want to check because some (Rich Parents) seem a bit op.

No, they are not all legal for play. Chapter 13 of the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play contains of a list of what is and what isn't allowed from various resources.

Rich Parents is one of the traits listed as not legal for PFS play.

Yes, that document is legal, but if you check the Society rules, that specific trait is not. :-) There's a list of allowed sources towards the back of the Organized Play rules.

No, it specifically excludes some traits in the Pathfinder Society guide:

Traits: all traits are legal except for the following: Hedge Magician, Magical Knack, Natural-Born Leader, and Rich Parents —- all other traits are legal

Darn and here I was looking forward to starting out with all masterwork equipment. Thank you for answering my question.
