Cany watches from his position as the orc appears to turn away and wander away from the group. Confused by this turn of events, he gets up and waits to see what transpires. If an arrow is let fly at the orc, he immediately charges at the orc, swinging his falchion to inflict as much damage as possible and kill with a single strike. But in his eagerness to inflict damage and decapitate the orc, the blade sweeps majestically over the orcs head.
Assuming that we are moved to within a range for a charge (was 50ft open ground before).
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 (+2 from charge, AC now 13)
Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 4) + 4 = 11

Hmm, just trying to be dramatic, and confused with what was happening, no matter. Well, being as he's whistled for help...I will wait for the orc to act...my initiative of 8 doesn't get me in first...so I guess I am still prone in the undergrowth. I guess we can disregard the actions and stuff, cos they never happened.
Canvy thinks to himself, "The blood that spills today, is gonna be both ours and theirs, that whistle will bring on more orcs to bring chaos and destruction. Some much for the wisdom and plans of unbelievers.".

Since it's a move action to stand up from prone, I rather thought you'd be crouching. But suit yourself.
Tiana is up and I'm missing initiatives from Garron and Erine. If you beat 10 you're up too.

Black Tom |

The orc doesn't advamce. In fact he backs into the citadel, taking cover behind the corner.
Crommard chuckles. "I know that orcs have a certain reputation, but they're not that stupid. In fact it is a common misconception, much due to the popular 'Eando's guide to orcs'..."
You're up.

Sanstree |

"I'm fer thinking the stinkin Orcs wantin us to end up fer archers target practicin"
"We can makan approach under concealment o' a mist an aviod the archers"
Obscuring Mist
School conjuration (creation); Level cleric 1, druid 1, sorcerer/wizard 1
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S
Range 20 ft.
Effect cloud spreads in 20-ft. radius from you, 20 ft. high
Duration 1 min./level (D)
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance no
A misty vapor arises around you. It is stationary. The vapor obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature 5 feet away has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker cannot use sight to locate the target).
A moderate wind (11+ mph), such as from a gust of wind spell, disperses the fog in 4 rounds. A strong wind (21+ mph) disperses the fog in 1 round. A fireball, flame strike, or similar spell burns away the fog in the explosive or fiery spell's area. A wall of fire burns away the fog in the area into which it deals damage.
This spell does not function underwater.

Crommard chuckles. "I know that orcs have a certain reputation, but they're not that stupid. In fact it is a common misconception, much due to the popular 'Eando's guide to orcs'..."

Erine seems a bit irritated. "Goat, remember that band that attacked the swamp that one time? I think Evalt's information might have been a bit...biased."
She closes her eyes as the fog forms. "Goat, why didn't he tell us he was going to do that? Now I can't see. Besides, he shouldn't do something like that on an assumption." She directs her lights to fly over to her, to try to improve her sight, as she starts walking towards where she remembers the door was.Switching to total defense.

Broccan Dunchad |

(to Erine) "Y'll get yerself killed innat fog, wee-lass."
(stows bow, and draws sword, advances slowly into the fog after Erine, anticipating attack.)
(muttering) "fightin' orcs blind..."

Broccan Dunchad |

(whispering sharply in the mist)
"psst! Wee-lass, get yerself an'ne goat back! Yer gonna be cutto bits out here! I canna see well ennuf ta protect ya, ann I'm not gonna leave ya ta die neither!"

Sanstree |

"This weren't my doin" whose to foggin us afore were aready to be afogged. At least we can moveon tha citadel and take positions"
Sanstree also moves forward into the fog toward the citadel.
"I figur whe hav about 6 falls of an orcs sword to get as clost as we can".....

Canvy stands up from amongst the bushes where he was hiding and to his astonishment sees a fog standing between him and the citadel. He tentatively moves through the moist mist, hearing the voices of the party already on their way, Canvy carefully and slowly follows the sounds. As he reaches the far side of the mist and it clears slightly, he sees that there is 30ft of open ground between himself and the Citadel. He speaks to whoever may listen. "This is madness to cross this gap, we will make the earth red with our blood and achieve nothing other than to meet with Pharasma sooner than we should. Perhaps we should wait and go in under the cover of darkness, for by now they may have filled the citadel with archers. Let us fight another day on the terms of our choosing."

Black Tom |

You all move forward to the edge of the mist. As Canvy emerges from the mist he is struck by a javelin thrown by the orc for 6 points of damage.
You are all up. The orc is now about 30 feet ahead, hiding behind a corner of a long passage into the citadel.
You really are the most dysfunctional party I ever seen, and I'm having a lot of fun.

Broccan Dunchad |

We are the keystone cops, aren't we? LOL
"Bloody greenskin'd bast'rd...(mutters while looking at his sword)why canna have the right weap'n whenineedit?"
"Somebody shoot at 'em an' I'll go an' chop 'is bloody 'ed off."

Black Tom

Erine Wintyle |

I move up behind Canvy
"areya in need of healin"CM says yes
CLW rolled it(5 points total)CM says no
move to back-up Broccan
stoping about 20 feet away from the citadel.
Erine runs out of the fog and speaks a spell. A glowing green ball appears and flies over to spin around the orc's head incessantly.
Casting Daze. Will save, DC 14, or the orc loses his next action.
Broccan Dunchad |

If conditions allow (per spoiler above):
Broccan charges the orc +2 attack, -2 AC, double movement
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
If conditions do not allow:
Broccan steps in front of Erine and attempts to cover her from incoming fire full defense

Black Tom |

I will also be careful what I mention to Goat about spells! [/ooc]
Yes, or start using quotation marks.
Broccan runs up to the orc and hits it with a glancing blow. It seems to shrug off Erine's magic.
Tiana, Gorran and Canvy are up, Sanstree's action pending Canvy's aye.

Canvy his head wracked with the pain as the javalin's cold steel head slashes into his side. At the back of his mind he hears a voice, offering relief, which he accepts from Sanstree. He looks at his falchion and says"Damn orcs, need to feel your sweet bite my dear." He follows Broccan and charges the orc. Assuming he can do that too.
Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 (includes +2 from charge, AC now 13)
Damage 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2) + 4 = 9

Actually now Broccan is in the way, so you can't charge the orc. I'll assume you double move to get into position after accepting the healing.

Black Tom |

Cast detect magic toward the orc.....
(thinkin I can help direct the assault)
You just cast Cure Light Wounds. Garron is up, then the orc.
Garron delays while the orc rages and takes a mighty swing at Broccan with his greataxe. Fortunately it goes wide.
You are up.

Yes that'll do fine.
Canvy shouts some gutteral words"Narkgrish Lamashtu", his eyes appear to glow purple and his weapon takes on a purplish hue. His weapon raised high above his head, swing down in a massive sweeping arc, but somehow his god did not hear the call and the weapon missed its target.
If the orc is still standing, he will attack channeling negative energy through his falchion, DC 15. I assume that's a miss then.
Attack1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage2d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 = 10
Additional damage from negative energy 1d6 ⇒ 3 DC 15 Will save for half.

"Ima feelin a storm brewing!"
Storm Burst (Sp):
Attack roll
13
ranged touch attack

Erine Wintyle |

Erine hangs back, unable to help much. She racks her brain, searching for something she remembers about orcs from her teachings.
I'm using Knowledge (nature), to see if I have any idea what sorts of environments orcs frequent and suchwhat.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Or you could just ask Crommard, who is standing next to you, nervously chewing his beard as he watches the fight.

1d20+8
She certainly could. But she doesn't. That way lies danger.

Tiana Twelvefingers |

Frustrated from her earlier miss, Tiana tries again to attack the orc from behind, slashing her rapier towards his back. However, she stumbles again this time tripping on a loose stone, which makes her lose her balance and miss.
Attack:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10, Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6, 1d6 ⇒ 5 sneak attack.

I think I am posting too often
Cheers Garron on from a distance.
"Garron ye can takeum"
Erine looks at Sanstree in bewilderment.
Not just you. The only reason I usually keep quieter than you is because Erine doesn't like talking to you, and I don't have the energy to detail an entire conversation with Goat.
