Magnimar scale map

I think there's something wrong with the Magnimar map scale .
The main map says that the w/b rule is equal to 640 ft.

But , if it's true , the irespan is only 150 ft. wide , roughly 50 meters ,a bit small to host a entire ward under it .

Can you explain me ?

Yeah; that map had something of a curse on it going into print, alas. The 640 foot scale is correct for the map of the Shadow on page 64 (giving an Irespan width of about 700 feet), which means that the scale on the full page map on page 62 should be about 1,400—about twice the scale of the map of the Shadow.
