Finished the podcast. I enjoyed it, thought it had useful information in regards to the module and errata.
Are there any plans to look back at other modules or will you only be focusing on future printed material?
I’m glad you enjoyed it.
The decision on what adventures to cover is a difficult one, made more difficult by Paizo’s own publication schedule. Currently, Paizo is releasing the following adventure material monthly, either:
One Adventure Path Volume; and
At least two (and sometimes more than two) Pathfinder Society Scenarios.
OR
One Adventure Path Volume; and
One 32 page module
That’s a helluva lot of adventure material to keep up with.
Our current plan is to do the show bi-weekly. If we stick to the bi-weekly format and cover as many of the Pathfinder Society Scenarios as we would like to, our cup literally runneth over just on a going-forward basis.
Now, I expect that many listeners will not be as interested in a blow-by-blow review of every Pathfinder Society Scenarios that is released, so we may have some wiggle room there. Still, it’s a rather daunting task given the volume of material that Paizo releases each month.
We will “go back” to already published adventure material somewhat I expect. For example, we plan to go in depth into the Council of Thieves Adventure Path before we get to Kingmaker.
There may be other one-offs in terms of reviewing already released material, but I think we will draw the line and not review 3.5 OGL adventure material. The podcast will instead always stick to reviewing Pathfinder RPG adventures.

Just listened. FWIW, my 10 cents...
Intro
Worked well. Nice intros from everyone. No need to repeat this in the future. It would be nice if you could normalize sound quality. Each person was noticeably different in quality and clarity.
Chronicles Newsroom
I did not like this at all. I dislike very much when podcasts do upcoming product listings especially when they do them right in the beginning of the podcast. It’s boring and most of this stuff you know already if you are a subscriber to the podcast. If you must do this I suggest you put it at the end of the podcast so listeners don't have to fast forward through it.
Also the way this was put together was so uninspired. Just three people randomly reading news snippets of copy. Why not at least do this in a free form conversation setting and have some light discussion on each product rather than just read copy?
My God over 12 minutes of this and it’s still going...please put time tags in the podcast so I can skip this in the future.
Errata Discussion
This might be useful for someone but I am not interested in a three headed reading of the errata to date. Again, how about a freeform panel discussion about interesting errata (not everything in it) and how it affected your game? For instance at one point you talk about Paizo play testing vs. WoTC play testing and how some of the stuff WoTC was introducing at the end of 3.5 was not play tested. Interesting that you felt this way SO GIVE AN EXAMPLE of what you are talking about. That’s what I want to hear in a podcast YOUR experience with the game.
The Smite Evil discussion was better. In the future if you don’t want to have a discussion on something don’t even bother mentioning it.
This whole “Errata Discussion” section should only have been the “Smite Evil Errata Discussion”.
Crypt of the Everflame discussion
This was excellent, great discussion using real play session anecdotes. Some strategy discussion, NPC discussion, plot and plot hole discussion, really great job. I can’t wait to hear more of these. Awesome.
I didn’t hear author or design credits for the product. I also did not hear the level range of the adventure. This would have been useful right up front.
Try not to use the term “MacGuffin”. I know this is increasingly in use these days but when Hitchcock coined the term I believe he was condescendingly referring to his own work. Using it to describe someone else’s writing I find borderline insulting to that writer. What you may call a “MacGuffin” might be a story point that has great meaning to an author. I believe it’s up to the author to identify something in the story as the “MacGuffin”. I believe a reader would only do so as a critique. As in, "The magic key served no purpose except as the MacGuffin." If you meant to critique the writing, that's fine, but I don't think you did.
I’ll be waiting for the next episode. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words. We're still feeling our way forward in all of this, but after three episodes, we are starting to develop a bit of a flow and a sense of where we would like to go with the show.
As for whether we get there or not? We'll see.
If there is something else you would like to see or particularly enjoy, please don't hesitate to let us know - either here on on the D20 Radio forums.

I like the Research guy - he has some cool ideas, good stuff to think about.
Your GM section is brilliant - It is unique in RPG podcasting, is a great resource.
I was wondering if you could do some newbie GM stuff
- how to balance encounters.
- what to watch out for if you have more or less than 4 players
- how some of the things that you discuss in the deconstruction can be applied to other modules or home-brew.
- starting a campaign right from character creation and location selection and the GM responsibilities.

Congratulations about the podcast. In the first episodes I got a slight impression of the critics being a bit harsh and repetitive, but it has improved and I'm really enjoying it. To all the staff, keep up the great job.
A question, the hero builder you mention in chapter 003, is it the Hero Lab from Lone Wolf? I tried to search the web for one Hero Builder and couldn't find it.
Also for the Paizo staff, I searched the module in amazon and it shows a different cover and says the author is Jason Bulmahn

The module was originally meant to be written by Jason, alas he didn't have the time, what with the APG and all. As for the cover, I'm guessing Amazon is still showing the mock-up Paizo used before they had the actual cover-image prepared and laid out.
