My character has purchased an ox from the Pathfinder Core Rules book. (Page 140, Table 6-3 Trade Goods)
I need to find stats for this animal. The closest I can seem to find in the Bestiary is the Herd Animal, Aurochs or Herd Animal, Bison.
Which would have the correct stats for the ox? (HD, Abilities, Attacks, etc)
(Game coming up in a couple of weeks with an unfamiliar GM, and I'd like something official to point him towards when he wants to know what the beast's stats are.)
Many Thanks

Follow-Up question.
Having just purchased and downloaded Adventurer's Armory:
I assume (based on same price) that Ox and Pack Animal, Ox are the same stated creature. If so, would this equate to an Aurochs?
And, would the Pack Animal, Yak equate to a Bison?
Or are there other stats that I should use?
Many thanks again.

I had asked this question before because a player was interested in using an ox in the course of buffing with a Deathknell spell. What I suggest you do is contact your unfamiliar GM, bring up the subject, present your information and get his/her consensus on what stats you will use. Until there are official stats presented you will need to do this each time you play with a different GM. A good GM will work with you on issues like this, but I encourage you to be flexible in return.

Yeah, my interest was in using it with Animate Dead and Haste to create a Fast Zombie Ox.
It's somewhat disappointing that despite appearing in both the core rules and in Adventurer's Armory, there are no stats for the ox, and thus no consistent rule to carry from table to table.

Yeah, my interest was in using it with Animate Dead and Haste to create a Fast Zombie Ox.
By killing it off and Animating it, wouldn't you lose it at the end of the scenario?

Yes. Dreadfully expensive, but amazingly fun roleplay. I've done two scenarios with zombie oxen. In one of them, my net income for the adventure was 4gp. For me, it was worth the expense.
(No, my character is not min-maxed at all.)

I Imagine some Sacrificial killing of the Ox, then an animation afterwards.
I have witnesses sacrificial killings before, being open to other cultures it was not that disturbing, but I can imagine that the animating of the dead ox afterwards may be a little unnerving to other PCs ;)

Yeah, that's somewhat how I imagine it. Have the ox in a killing pen (like at the slaughterhouse), and then simply kill it with a coup-de-grace. And then animate it afterwards.
It could be something as simple as buying a freshly killed ox at the slaughterhouse, or buying a live ox there and paying the slaughterhouse to kill it for you.
On the extreme end, I could always fall back on channeling negative energy to kill it. And then bring it back.
