Lena was drop dead gorgeous!! I just saw the news report on TV. She was a singer and movie star who was a famous pioneer for civil rights in the entertainment industry.

It's a sad, sad, day. I first developed my love of jazz listening to Ms. Horne.

92 years young. She lived long, fought the good fight on the race relations front, and indeed prospered. I will miss her voice, and I hope she is enjoying the smoky jazz hall of eternity(Note: the GOOD smoky jazz hall, not the bad one).
