New GM / player mod questions

a few months ago I tried to run "decline of glory" , because of time constraints (and other factors) we only did 1/4 of the mod. my players lost thier caracters (first time we tried pathfinder/ pathfinder society)
the players barley recall it was in a "swamp".. and it was not reported (I didnt know how to setup the game at the time)

would it be ok to have them redo the mod with new caracters?
(now that most have read up on the factions and the world)

or better yet, since Im the only one who knows this mod (im DM) hold it for a few adventures and re-introduce pathfinder with a different mod (perhaps one more forgiving on absolutely new players/gm)

moreso any suggestions on a great mods as a starter?

There's a thread under pathfinder society general discussion that's called "Recommended modules for new players" that's got a lot of good suggestions on modules that are good to start Pathfinder Society with. Hope that helps.

I would run a different scenario to start things out. If you want to give Decline of Glory another shot, wait until the party is 4th level or so. That will give them another few months to forget any details; they will also face slightly different foes, since they will play at a higher tier.

Silent Tide is a good introductory scenario for the society. What sort of scenario elements do your players most enjoy? Action/Adventure, Roleplaying, Mystery, Puzzle-Solving?
