XP Awards

Kingmaker

Silver Crusade

It's been a while since I've handled XP very exactly (I normally just level the players up as appropriate between "chapters", rather than count each XP), but with the sandbox nature of Kingmaker I find it easier to actually track XP, which brings me to my questions:

For the "subquests" on the inside covers, is there an XP reward for completion, or the the listed (usually monetary) one?

And for other story awards (like 100XP per hex explored), do you divide that amongst the players (e.g. four players = 25 XP each), or does everyone get the full amount?

Thanks, and my players are really enjoying this AP so far.

For the quests, they give two rewards: the listed physical reward and an XP reward. We don't put the XP reward in the body of the text in case folks want to use them as handouts; instead, each volume of Kingmaker lists the XP award for that volume's quests in the adventure itself in the sections near the start that talk about that volume's quests.

The XP award for quests increases with each volume; quest XP awards for the first adventure are MUCH smaller than those for the last adventure. In Pathfinder #31, this info appears on page 13; a quest in this adventure is worth 400 XP.

For ALL XP awards, you divide the award by the number of players, be those XP awards from quests, exploring, city/kingdom building, or killing monsters.
