OK, I have a player whose halfling rogue may actually weep tears of joy at the cloak of halfling kind. I like that one alot, not only is it funny and fun, but it has a real use too. Though you may want to check, as my copy of the pdf has 2 instances of this items description, one on page 2 and one page 3.
I really like the sheilding mantles too. I will need to get an armored one for my summoner.
I like the dirk of invisibilty also, finally a way for a rogue to sneak attack with stealth. But why is the crafting cost more then 50% of its buying cost? It seems sometimes the cost of the MW dagger is present and others it isnt, is there a reason for that?
Dirk of Invisibility
Aura: Faint illusion CL 3rd
Slot: none; Price: 1,800 gp, Weight: 1 lb.
Requirements: Craft Magic Arms and
Armor, invisibility; Cost: 1,050 gp.
Got another typo on page 7, the mystic misericorde is named Letter opener (the previous item) in its title bar.
I like the rondel of forewarning, I'm gonna have to think of a way to turn that into an enhancement bonus. There is such a history of weapons detecting creatures (think sting in lotr) I would want to be able to add it to a characters primary weapon and not limit it to daggers.

Doh! You're right. I'll fix it right now.

Glad you like it! That's always our -aim- for these books, to be useful even if we're being funny.

You are exactly right, it's a question of how much materwork dagger cost I charged. In some cases, that was all of it (such as this item), because it's going to be used for attack. In some cases it was none, either because the item doesn't count as masterwork, or because attacking it it wouldn't be very helpful (letter opener). And in a few cases, I charged part of the masterwork dagger cost, as a middle-case. So it was based on my call of how much the cutting power of the item was linked to its likely in-game use.

Obviously that is a good part of what inspired the idea. As an add-on to other magic weapons I'd tag it at +5,000 gp.

I can't help but notice the price increase on this one over the other five volumes. Is it longer than the first five, or is there more art, or what?
More original content. The earlier L4L volumes were almost all reprints of products I did earlier in the decade, just updated for Pathfinder, professionally edited, with better art and layout. Since it took less work to produce, we charged people less. But there isn't an infinite amount of that pre-written work, and the daggers section of this book is all-new. That takes me more time, and thus I sadly must charge more.
Additionally, while we do our best to keep our prices low, the fact is we are also seeing rising costs and effort in some areas throughout the business, so we've had to adjust our prices on some things. We expect to keep our prices quite low on these products for obvious reasons, but some small increase from previous prices on similar products look inevitable.
We hope everyone continues to see us as a great value, and are happy to discuss such matters with fans. Thanks for asking!

Thanks for the honest answer. Your reasons are understandable and I'll keep it all in mind.
