Winged Dogs?

My friend is going to be doing a summoner and is trying to figure out the fantastical dog that he will be summoning. I swear that I remember some sort of winged dog in 3.X at some point, but have had little success in finding any specific reference. Maybe I'm just thinking of something else, but hoped someone might be able to help me. Thanks a lot.

Just checked. It's under the "Winged Creature" template. Savage Species, pages 137-138.

Checked that one, not the picture that I remember, but that might have been the one from WotC. Thanks for the feedback and the page info. Anybody else seen them?

Back in ye olde days, there were Vulture Hounds in the Melnibonean section of the Dieties & Demigods, but they weren't winged (although that would be a logical upgrade, just like winged owlbears). Those are the only bird/dog hybrids I remember.
