Ogami Itto of the Lone Wolf and Cub Series Character Stats

Off-Topic Discussions

Hello,

I was referred to your site from a representative of Hieroglyphsbooks. She mentioned that this site has many long time gamers. And maybe someone or somebody can assist me on my inquiry.

Has anyone ever read the Lone Wolf and Cub Comic Book Series or seen the 6 movies which were created in the early 70's.

If not, please do not move forward.

By watching the films specifically or reading comic book series, did anyone ever wonder what type of character or character stats that Ogami Itto or his adversaries would have in either D&D 4th Edition rules or D&D 3.5 Edition Rules.

I was able to find Character stats for Zatoichi - The Blind swordsman provided by the Hieroglyphsbooks representative. But there were no findings on the Lone Wolf and Cub's Itto Ogami.

I believe in 2nd, 3.0 or 3.5 edition, he would be a Ronin - Fallen Samurai. As for 4th edition - A special straight class Fighter.

From the movie & comic view: Ogami Itto is a former Shogunate Executioner. Who was framed and removed from his position from his long time adversary the Yagyu Clan (Assassin Group) & Kurokawa (Spies Group). His wife was murdered by Yagyu Clan. After his expulsion, he became a Ronin for hire. 500 ryo (GP) for any task requested by the 3rd Party, whether it was women, elders or kids or regular enemies, religious parties, basically anybody.

No Armor. Carries a Doatuniki(sp. err.) Sword - Battle Sword, an extra katana. Uses a Horse Slaying Sword Technique - which cuts the enemies legs off, from the knee down.

His has a strong bond with his son Daigoro (2-4 yrs old).

The Baby Cart has a vast arsenel. Some of these may not be allowed in the D&D rules, but can be modified into different type of weaponry.
The cart's handle has two daggers, one at each end. Two railings on each side of the cart to create a long pole vault pole or into a glaive.
Base of the cart is armor plated & bullet proof. At the front of the cart contains a gattling gun or blunderbuss from Hippo like creatures from SpellJammers. Each wheel axle has a retractable/extractable daggers with enough momentum plow through the enemies by removing their ankles.

Thank you for your time and I will be awaiting for anybody's correspondence.

Al

Just curious what you think he would be in Pathfinder?
