It's a beautify irony that the more someone spends on subscriptions and products, the slower they receive their order.
I'm throwing this message out there in the hope that the good staff at Paizo can find some way to reward those of us who regularly place large orders, rather than penalizing us :)
Even if the PDFs were available on the first day, that would be good enough for me.
I'm typically waiting days for my PDFs after orders start shipping and other subscribers are gleefully reading their PDFs, all because I spent more than they did.

Let me see if anything can be done about this. ;)

While I agree it would be awesome if those that subscribe more could get it faster, I tend to find that mine gets shipped out relatively quickly every month. It might be because I have three fewer subscriptions... but I'm not sure how much the Planet Stories, Map Packs, and item cards would affect it. Hopefully something will be put into place!

The subscription stuff is mailed over some time, with no preferences - so one time you might get a PDF on the first day, and other times sometime later. And if you combine your subscriptions in monthly batches you will wait for the last book.
That's actually not true.
Someone at Paizo (I'll post the link if I find the thread) commented that they ship out in order of 'simplicity' - the smaller, simpler orders get shipped first, then the larger/custom orders.
So, since I virtually always add stuff to my orders, and since I'm a superscriber, I'm guaranteed to be near the end of their list - there were people drooling over their PDFs on Friday 4/16 ... and I got mine late-ish in the day on Monday 4/26.

I'm pretty sure your problems stem from adding stuff to your order. I subscribe to everything, and I usually get my order shipped very early in the first day of shipping.
While that's a pain for you, I hope the logic of doing the subscription orders (without things added) makes some amount of sense, since it is practically assembly line type packaging.

Actually, Gorbacz is right. We don't do the easiest first. I have helped out on subscription runs many times and I have picked very complicated orders at the very beginning. So it is a bit random. That said, if you have a complicated order, then it is more likely that something wasn't in stock when it was supposed to be or a book is late getting to us or something like that, so that could delay your order. But it isn't because the easiest are picked first. Now one thing you might have heard is that the basic subscriber orders are shipped by "robot" and so a massive amount of people get their PDFs almost simultaneously, but those are only people who have very simple subscriber orders. The rest have to be shipped by hand, which takes more time.

Yep! That was exactly it.
I tried for a little while searching in the message boards ... but good luck finding a specific post about orders :)
