But he did look pretty rough when we saw Type O last year.

this really, really sucks. i've been totally bummed since i heard last night.

some memorable quotes from peter steele, showing what a true character he was:

Granted, though, he was looking really bad toward the end. Really tall people are prone to heart failure anyway, and the years of drug abuse didn't help any.

He'd been clean for years, but doing any amount of drugs at any time really puts you at risk.

Yeah, that's why I'm still worried about a number of other musicians(and shocked and amazed that some are still kicking), but that's probably best left for another thread.
